**Job Description**
**The Role:**
The vision of Commercial Operations at Gilead is to drive operational excellence by delivering innovative capabilities that enable ANZ teams to achieve competitive advantage and unmatched customer experience. The primary role of the Business Operations & Customer Service Senior Associate is to support servicing external customers in our provision of medicines to ANZ/NZ wholesalers and our drugs donation program. This role also supports the Commercial Operations Senior director in managing team operations and key business deliverables eg. National Business Meeting, Gilead induction and key operational meetings. This role reports to the Senior Manager Trade Operations.
**How you will ‘** **_Create Possible’_** **:**
· Responsible for coordinating and managing customer order and invoice processes – order to cash
· Provides customer service support to external wholesalers and distributors in support of the customer ordering process
· Provides support for processes included in Supply chain management /Batch management / Recalls / Damaged stock / Quality
· Processing of invoicing for KITE
· Administration of programs that support our drugs donations
· Process champion for new systems or process enhancements, including UAT
· Work collaboratively with Global Trade operations and the ANZ Senior Manager of Trade Operations in the set up of new products in the supply chain
· Participates in the organization and co-ordination of the annual National Business conference with internal stakeholders and external vendor.
· Contract and vendor management
· Other Commercial Operations administrative tasks
**Knowledge, Experience and Skills** :
· Typically requires a BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply chain management
· Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required
· Able to work collaboratively in a team structure are required
· Able to spend majority of time working independently using well-defined and established procedures with little guidance
· Must have the ability to multi-task in a deadline intensive environment
· Critical thinking and analysis skills are required
· Excellent customer service skills required
· Invoice/contract processing skills required, experienced in using accounting software, SAP preferred
· Solid presentation and data analysis skills using PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
· Adaptable to new systems and technologies
· Strong communication skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing
· Demonstrated ability to provide support to senior managers and to establish effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
· Excellent task management skills-- planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management and plan execution is required
· Has the ability to provide pro-active involvement in conference planning, budgeting and project management
· Can demonstrate an interest in the commercial operation function
