Background on the Team

Coordinate and complete Assets Under Management reporting process for one of the strategic businesses within Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

. Responsibilities

Deliver reporting output to downstream consumers within designated timelinesCollaborate with the broader organization to better understand events and trends within AUM and Flows for the businessMaintain and enhance controls with upstream data providers to ensure quality and accuracy of reported data.  Research discrepancies and effectproblem resolution where necessary.Validate reporting output prior to distribution, maintaining and improving reporting controlsMonitor status of reporting to ensure timely distributionServe as a subject matter expert to leadership and the business for AUM & Flows reportingBe the change agent by developing and optimizing most efficient methods of delivering reporting & analytics output.Oversee product fee basis management for the divisionManage and optimize self-service tooling in conjunction with technology partnersEffectively communicate both verbally and in writing across all organizational levels.Assist with ad hoc AUM & Flows requests and support broader organizational transformation efforts as AUM & Flows reporting expert

Skills desired

Associate or Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience5-10 years of related work experienceFinance reporting and knowledge of Asset Management is a major plusTransformation experience is a plusAdvanced Excel skills, SQL, Tableau and Database skills Project Management skills would be a plus.
