What the day will look like Forming a critical part of Aon’s regional specialty team and supporting the Head of Transactional Liability Insurance, Asia, you will be assisting in originating, managing and executing TL opportunities. This is achieved through engaging the internal Aon client service teams and external distribution channels (lawyers, investment banks, fund managers, accounting firms and private equity firms) to develop relationships and deliver TL solutions to clients and prospects. At the outset, assisting the TL team in the following: Assist in the advisory and delivery of TL solutions (primarily Warranty & Indemnity insurance) on M&A transactions (whether Asian-based or offshore) Assist in the negotiations with insurers while explaining TL solutions to other M&A practitioners Assist in the process of placing a W&I insurance solution on any M&A transaction Grow and develop the TL business across Asia Skills and experience that will lead to success Bachelor’s degree in law is preferable Prior experience in a finance, legal or consulting role, with an understanding of how M&A deals are conducted Possess legal drafting skills and have ability to analyze transaction documents and financial statements Confident communicator (written/verbal) with excellent presenting skills Good multi-tasker, who takes initiative and is willing to learn Proficiency in MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
