Senior Associate, National Partnerships
**About the Role** The Senior Associate, National Partnerships will be a part of the Federal Affairs team supporting political affairs and our policy-related partnerships strategy. The ideal candidate will build relationships with key stakeholders, research and analyze policy issues, and develop strategic partnerships with key third parties, trade groups, and organizations. This position requires excellent communication skills and navigating complex political landscapes reporting directly to the Head of the Federal Affairs team. **What You'll Do** + Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other organizations, industry groups, and advocacy coalitions to amplify Uber's policy objectives. + Identify areas of mutual interest and facilitate the development of joint initiatives, coalition efforts, and advocacy campaigns. + Represent our organization in external forums, including public speaking engagements. + Conduct research and analysis on relevant policy issues to inform the development of partnership initiatives. + Provide strategic guidance and support to internal teams on engaging with federal partners to ensure alignment and maximize impact. + Provide policy expertise and guidance to internal collaborators, including senior management and project teams. **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience in public policy, campaigns, communications, or government affairs. + Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and leverage partnership opportunities to advance policy goals. + Experience as a project manager, overseeing project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion. + Strong analytical skills used to evaluate complex policy issues, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating complex policy concepts clearly and concisely. + Proven track record of building and managing relationships with diverse partners, including government officials, industry leaders, and advocacy organizations. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Passion for public policy, government affairs, and making a positive impact through policy advocacy! **Preferred Qualifications** + Proven experience in advocacy and influencing policy outcomes through effective engagement and collaboration. For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$130,000 per year - USD$144,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
