Through the cultivation of thought leadership, we deliver sustainable and forward-thinking solutions to the most complex design challenges facing the world’s leading clients and partners. **Job Summary** Introba is seeking a Senior Associate, Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Toronto, Canada office. **Responsibilities & Qualifications** **Key Accountabilities** + Leads a team ensuring members receive adequate training, support and developmentopportunities + Accountable for ensuring appropriate utilization, workload planning and forecasting + Implements programs to improve the quality of service, products, and systems to meet client's requirements, minimize costs, and maximize the firm’s competitive position   + Promote quality issues with all team members and ensure that the quality control function is effectively performed and embedded as a standard in the team + Assure adequate field review services are provided to ensure adherence of contract documents   + Conduct studies to determine cause, effect, and corrective actions required to remedy deviations that impair desired standards  + Act as the firm representative and maintain good relationships with clients, project stakeholders, associations, government bodies and other entities + Is an active role model for team and office culture and promotes an inclusive workplace + Builds and manages their own key clients and monitors key pursuits/opportunities + Contributes to GO/NO-GO decisions with the mindset of growing the business + Monitors and assists with keeping team performance at or above the annual plan + Is a discipline lead on projects with minimal peer/technical support required + Can communicate with clients and project team to lead the discipline in a multidisciplinary projects **Qualifications and Experience** + 7+ years design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Control Systems + Healthcare/Science and technology experience is required. + University degree, college/technology diploma in Mechanical Engineering  + Professional Engineer (PEng), Applied Science Technologist (AScT), or EIT designations are highly preferred  + Project Management experience is required; multi-disciplinary project management experience is ideal + LEED®Accredited professional designation or other relevant rating or performance system is desired  + Understands and can execute project financials + Has led a team **Additional Information** Introba is committed to employment equity and providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (‘AODA’).
