About the Team

Our US Marketplace Strategy & Operations team is responsible for building, scaling and improving the way in which we provide Restaurant delivery. We build our restaurant selection, test 0 → 1 products to give merchants more opportunity to delight their consumers, and optimize ways to improve our marketplace to increase the return on investment our partners gain from partnering with DoorDash. This team focuses on all things Restaurants ranging from selection, to merchandising, to consumer strategy, to leveraging our logistics network in new ways, to so much more! 

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Associate to join our Marketplace Strategy & Operations team, supporting U.S. Restaurant Acquisition Targeting. In this role, you’ll help build the targeting strategy that drives growth across our platform businesses—enabling our sales and operations teams to reach the right merchants with the right opportunities at the right time.

You’ll work closely with Strategy & Ops Managers, Data Science, Sales Ops, and Engineering to analyze data, support infrastructure development, and surface insights that guide our acquisition motion. This is a great fit if you enjoy solving complex problems, partnering cross-functionally, and contributing to strategies that scale.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Develop and own the end-to-end targeting strategy for the U.S. Restaurant Acquisition team Partner closely with Sales Ops, Data Science, and Engineering to build scalable infrastructure for lead targeting and performance reporting Identify the most impactful merchant segments and prioritize acquisition efforts accordingly Analyze marketplace dynamics, performance trends, and competitive insights to shape strategy Serve as the cross-functional point of contact to ensure executional alignment across teams We’re excited about you because… You have 2–4 years of experience in a problem-solving role (e.g., Consulting, Strategy, BizOps, Tech, or F&B) You have a BA/BS in a quantitative or analytical field You’re analytically sharp and comfortable working with data (SQL proficiency is a plus) You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building structure out of ambiguity You’re a collaborative team player who can work across functions and levels of seniority You’re eager to grow into an operator who can both think strategically and execute tactically
