You will utilize modern Data Engineering principles and techniques to help the team better deliver value in the form of AI, analytics, business intelligence, and operational insights. You will be on a team responsible for executing on technical strategies, designing architecture, and developing solutions to enable the Digital Manufacturing organization to deliver value to our partners across Pfizer.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Associate, Integration Engineer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain Database Service CataloguesBuild, maintain and optimize data pipelinesSupport cross-functional teams with data related tasksTroubleshoot data-related issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions in a timely mannerAutomate builds and deployments of database environmentsSupport development teams in database related troubleshooting and optimizationDocument technical specifications, data flows, system architectures and installation instructions for the provided servicesCollaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutionsParticipate in relevant SAFe ceremonies and meetingsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplineMinimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics or similar fieldsBroad Understanding of data engineering techniques and technologies, including at least 3 of the following:PostgreSQL (or similar SQL database(s))Neo4J/CypherETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processesAirflow or other Data Pipeline technologyKafka Distributed Event Streaming platformProficient or better in a scripting language, ideally PythonExperience tuning and optimizing database performanceKnowledge of modern data integration patternsStrong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment, spanning global time zonesProactive approach and goal-oriented mindsetSelf-driven approach to research and problem solving with proven analytical skillsAbility to manage tasks across multiple projects at the same timePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Job will require working with global teams and applications. Flexible working schedule will be needed on occasion to accommodate planned agile sprint planning and system releases as well as unplanned/on-call level 3 support.Travel requirements are project based. Estimated percentage of travel to support project and departmental activities is less than 10%.Work Location Assignment: Hybrid
