Senior Associate, Finance and Investor Relations
About the team:

The Investor Relations team sits within the Finance team at DoorDash and is responsible for helping to make DoorDash a better business. We do that primarily by attracting capital partners that are aligned with management, providing external feedback to key internal stakeholders, aiding in competitive intelligence and corporate development efforts, and aiding in the management of all types of external communications.

About the Role:

The Sr. Associate, Finance and Investor Relations will support finance and data projects within investor relations and the broader finance organization. You will collaborate with teams across DoorDash to develop investor relations materials while supporting these teams with your own insights and learnings. You will build financial models and conduct data analytics. Investor relations is a unique finance position within DoorDash, with exposure to important strategic and operational decisions, board planning and review, quarterly earnings preparation, and conversations with top investors. The candidate will gain C-level and board-level exposure. Prior investor relations experience is not required.  

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will … Support investor relations strategy for a ~$100B public company Collaborate with key executives and leaders across the company Partner closely with finance, communications, policy, accounting, legal, and corporate development  Have the opportunity to influence decision making around corporate strategy, capital allocation, organic investments, and M&A Develop an understanding of equity markets and investor behavior related to DoorDash and help identify important investor themes/topics Maintain relationships with leading investors around the world; assist with scheduling and managing investor meetings Frequently apply data analytics to understand internal trends, such as Dasher supply, DashPass membership, growth/profit trends by category, cohort trends, and advertising details Support internal finance projects that could include market research, M&A support, macroeconomic factors, capital allocation strategies, and other topics Assist with earnings preparation, including scheduling, press release preparation, financial reviews, Q&A prep for CEO and CFO, and the development of board documents Summarize investor feedback for board and leadership review Assist with inbound analyst and investor questions Support investor conference and non-deal roadshow planning  We’re excited about you because … You have 5+ years of corporate finance and/or data analytics experience You have strong basic modeling skills, with SQL/snowflake or other data skills a big plus You’re a first principles thinker with strong analytical skills You have the conviction to influence senior leaders and the humility to be influenced by anyone with a good idea You are able to distill complex ideas and financial models into clear messages and actionable ideas/recommendations, both verbally and in writing You enjoy challenges that require deep collaboration across groups
