The Senior Associate, Facilities Services is responsible for supporting the daily operations of an assigned facility. This includes performing weekly building inspections, handling minor maintenance tasks, moving furniture and boxes, and setting up conference rooms for presentations. The ideal candidate will be customer service-driven and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities Conference Room SetupsSet up tables, chairs, and audiovisual (A/V) equipment according to scheduled meetings and established guidelines.
Clear out items left from previous meetings (e.g., papers, bottles).
Follow conference room presentation standards and setup guides.
Report and troubleshoot A/V issues, including telephones and conference phones.
Deliver and retrieve equipment across campus; ensure functionality before use.
Train users on built-in A/V equipment and assist with operations during meetings.
Respond to real-time A/V setup changes via radio communication.
Confirm completion of room setup adjustments with Coordinator.
Operations and Service RequestsFulfill service requests, including but not limited to:
Key deliveries
Internal box moves
Furniture relocation
Grid movements
Assembly of racks, fixtures, and forms
Track and prioritize service tasks and manage related inventory.
Coordinate deliveries and pickups while following building access protocols.
Conduct weekly building inspections using a defined checklist.
Keep all storage and supply closets organized.
Deploy and remove rain mats based on weather conditions.
Inter-Office MovesDistribute moving boxes and labels per instructions.
Assist vendors with relocating computer equipment and boxes.
Collect and clear empty boxes post-move.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education, Experience & CertificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
Valid Driver’s License required
Ability to walk, stand, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent customer service skills
Flexible and strong team player
Clear understanding of written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently across diverse customer groups
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in basic PC and office tasks (e.g., reports, forms, tracking work orders)
