Utilize 3rd party data applications (Salesforce, SS&C SalesConnect, Broadridge, etc.) to ensure Intermediary flows and AUM are accurately recorded and available for reportingManual entry of trades, trade assignments, firms, offices, contacts as needed to help resolve trades and positions across a variety of MSIM product familiesFunction as a liaison between the Firm and SS&C to drive prioritization of outstanding data initiatives and maintain project timelinesOversee sales territory management tool and work with sales managers to execute realignments when neededTroubleshoot trade resolution issues and identify root cause to formulate a proposed solutionWork closely with Investor Services and Operations to ensure alignment of data between TA and sales systemsDesign custom data queries to respond to ad-hoc data requests from sales personnel and members of our investment teamsImplement custom rules to override natural resolution of trades and assets in order to satisfy sales requirementsAssist with the resolution of subscriptions in our Alternative funds down to the appropriate financial advisorAbility to maintain excellent communication standards, including within Distribution Management and with sales representativesQualifications:
5+ Years of relevant work experience preferably within Mutual Fund Operations / Transfer Agency teamsFundamental understanding of SS&C / Transfer Agent data architecture and relationship with complimentary sub-TA data streamsKnowledge of the Mutual Fund trade resolution process and the role of the Firm/Office/Rep ID’s that drive the attributionExperience working with ETF flows and AUM is beneficialComfortable working with large complex data sets received from multiple sources, both internal and from 3rd party providersAbility to collect, organize, and analyze data; summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendationsStrong attention to detail as well as solid organization/time management skillsWork experience with SalesConnect / SS&C experience is a plus as well as preferred operations backgroundHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel functionsHigh degree of professionalism, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities meeting deadlinesBachelor’s Degree RequiredWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:
