About the Role

As a Sr. Associate, Autonomy Technical Support at DoodDash Labs, you will ensure the successful daily operations of the robot fleet and act as a conduit between Operations and Engineering teams to report, track and resolve field operations issues. This role will be 100% in-office and may require early and late shifts or occasional weekends.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Perform initial debugging and troubleshooting, capturing key details to identify root causes and implement resolution or mitigation steps Report anomalies, bugs, and faults with clear, actionable information to support timely Engineering investigation and resolution Build internal tools and scripts that streamline workflows and integrate with existing systems, empowering the team to act faster and more effectively Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to design automation and tooling that improves issue triage, data visibility, and operational efficiency Create and maintain resolution steps and internal knowledge base documentation We’re excited about you because… You’ve debugged complex software and hardware issues in real-world systems like autonomy, robotics, or embedded platforms You’re fluent in Linux, comfortable on the command line, and experienced with Git, GitHub, and Jira You build internal tools or scripts (Python, Bash, etc.) that streamline workflows and reduce manual ops You’re curious about system behavior and approach problems with a root-cause-first mindset You bridge ops and engineering, clearly communicating technical findings and driving scalable fixes You write crisp, useful documentation — from bug reports to runbooks to internal wikis
