Driving estate strategy through lease renewals, sublets, and re-gears, ensuring every decision adds value and aligns with business goals. Preparing and presenting compelling board reports to gain approval for key property proposals and initiatives. Managing and minimising occupational property costs, overseeing rent reviews and lease renewals to support our £80m annual property budget. Ensuring all property commitments are strategically managed to optimise profitability, reduce risk, and support the delivery of our long-term property plan. Acting as a trusted property partner across the business—supporting retail, finance, store construction, and other teams with expert advice, dispute resolution, and operational property management. Safeguarding our stores’ ability to trade without disruption by proactively managing consents and compliance. Maintaining and enhancing the property database to deliver accurate commercial reporting, forecasting, and insights on costs, liabilities, and new site opportunities.

Proven experience in a property role—ideally within an in-house team for a national multi-site retailer with a varied estate of store formats and property types. Strong financial acumen, with confidence in budgeting, forecasting, and cost provisioning. To be skilled in negotiating legal property contracts, including leases, licences, and related agreements. Hands-on experience managing rent reviews and lease renewals, working directly with landlords and agents to secure the best outcomes.
