Senior Asset Manager
**Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Asset Manager to oversee and optimize the management of our organization's assets, leading and providing data entry support to both client and internal assets. This role acts as the connective tissue between departments, agency partners, and clients, requiring a solid organization and accuracy. The Senior Asset Manager will have exposure to projects from start to finish, with the opportunity to view raw files through their evolution to the final product. In addition to efficiently managing personnel to address inquiries or requests, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective asset management strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This leadership role involves overseeing a team of asset management professionals and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. **Responsibilities** **KEY FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Develop asset management workflows starting from creation through to production and distribution. + Auditing system performance and builds best practices documentation. + Librarianship: Acquiring, organizing, and locating, collections of print/digital assets in libraries and servicing to each team with these resources. + Manage Assets: Review format files, compile and gathering information for each asset (usage rights, approvals, retouches, etc), place on files the correct naming convention, fill a metadata tracker to send the assets on DAM platform, close and/or report any delay with the project or any asset related, etc. + Metadata verification/creation: Ensure accurate, complete, and consistent metadata for an asset by reviewing and inputting relevant information. + Asset Naming: Assigning clear and consistent names to digital/printl files for easy identification and organization. + Taxonomies: Organizing large volumes of information, improving search and retrieval, facilitating knowledge management, and promoting consistency in content organization and navigation. + Concepts Digital Productions: Knowledge of different concepts of digital (grids, image resolution, color profiles, quality control checks, proofing, digital formats knowledge, PPI and DPI profiles, etc.). + Concepts Pre-press production: Knowledge of different concepts of printing (grids, image resolution, color profiles, quality control checks, proofing, printing plates knowledge, PPI and DPI profiles, etc.). + Usage Rights Understanding: Basic knowledge of different types of Usage Rights Releases (model releases, Unlimited Usage release, Full Buyout release, Place Image Usage Right release, etc.). + HTML: Structure, attributes, styles, links, colors, images, tables, classes, lists. + Video Formats: Understand formats and review formats (MP4, MOV, WMV, AVI, AVCHD, WEBM, HTML5). + Image Format: Understand formats and review formats (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .psd, .jpg, .tiff, .png). + Color Profiles: Understand different color profiles (CMYK - RGB). **MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Works collaboratively in a team environment with designers, production, and project management to proactively resolve inaccuracies/inconsistencies. + Manages a team of Asset managers, cross clients, and mentors junior talent. + Team Task Allocation: Assigning work to team members based on skills and availability, ensuring a balanced workload and efficient collaboration. + Client protocol and communication: Practices guidelines for interacting with clients in a professional and effective manner to ensure clear, efficient, and satisfactory communication between an organization and its clients. + Analytic: Ability to go further of what you see at first glance. + Conflict Management: The ability to recognize and deal with disputes and crucial confrontations in a rational, balanced, and effective way. + Actively embraces agency vision to create and protect transformational ideas for our clients **Qualifications** **MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:** + Bachelor’s degree as Archivist, Librarian or related field is preferred + 7+ years in data administrative, asset management role in a creative agency and/or production studio environment. + Experience with DAM systems, library systems, content management systems (CMSs), or other large searchable databases used in the creation of web pages, media, or research a plus + Takes initiative to improve the process, and provide workflow solutions + Excellent organization and time management; possesses an ability to prioritize a large volume of work effectively & efficiently with tight deadlines + Collaborative, able to foster a team relationship with co-workers and all agency disciplines + Critical thinking / using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to opportunities. + Flexibility, willingness to shift gears to meet project deadlines and client deliverables + Attention-to-detail; demonstrating a high degree of accuracy + Ability to use good judgment when performing tasks + Excellent verbal and written communication skills: demonstrated ability to communicate openly, honestly, and with integrity + Strong technical knowledge, ability to devise flexible process solutions and provide excellent service and support are key for this role. Most importantly, this role is about creating an amazing experience from start to finish for our clients + Possesses a solid understanding of production workflows — both print and digital. Follows client advertising requirements + Incredible people skills, ability to simplify digital asset access to the masses **GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS /KNOWLEDGE:** + It is highly desirable to have knowledge and proficiency in using design software programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to maximize effectiveness and efficiency in executing tasks related to the review and manipulation of assets.
