Role description:

This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) – Arcadis’ centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3,000 talented individuals working in offices across Romania, India and Philippines, providing Capability, Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services, in collaboration with our global businesses.

Arcadis' Romania office is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our dynamic Workplace team, contributing to a range of high-profile projects. In this role, you’ll oversee the architectural design and technical development, ensuring that our workplace solutions meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and functionality.

Role accountabilities:

Lead the production, and coordination of technical drawings through all project phases—from Concept Design through to Construction Documentation. Oversee the development and integration of design solutions, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and regulations. Manage multiple projects throughout the United States and Canada, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to design intent, quality standards, and client objectives. Collaborate closely with internal teams to facilitate the smooth delivery of projects. Monitor project timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with scope and performance goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

Professional degree in Architecture. 10 years + of experience, with a proven track record in Workplace design and project delivery . Previous experience on projects within the United States and/or Canada preferred. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with experience in BIM coordination (has at least 5 years Revit project experience). Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges.  Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality architectural solutions.
