You must have a passion for designing and building both software and networking , get things done quickly and get them done right. As an Architect Senior, you will be responsible for: + Designing, implementing, and documenting cloud platform functionality that enables the overlay of virtual networks. + Coordinating with teams globally as part of working on new features, designs and other tasks. + Architecting overall systems design of software components, including network automation frameworks, APIs, and data flows. + Collaborating closely with product teams developing the next generation of networking products **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + Be an expert in virtual networking concepts and protocols, such as VXLAN, SRv6, or etc. + Be familiar with networking software and automation stacks, such as frr, GoBGP, NAPALM, Ansible, SALT, CI/CD, Jenkins. + Be comfortable with interpreting code written in object-oriented programming languages, such as Go, C++, Python or Java. + Have solid skills in documenting the operations of complex computer software and network systems. + Possess excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences in English **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
