The Healthcare AI Frontiers group is dedicated to accelerating the discovery and delivery of new and better treatments. Our mission is to bridge the gap between groundbreaking AI research and everyday clinical practice, ultimately improving health outcomes for patients worldwide.

This group closely collaborates with Microsoft Research to develop novel machine learning methods and systems to solve real-world healthcare challenges. We nurture opportunities and technologies that will shape and define our industry over the next several years.

We are looking to have a Senior Applied Scientist join our team. We work closely with product groups across the company, including Azure, Foundry, Dragon, M365 and Copilot to bring new research into products and platforms for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, payor, and healthcare providers. We are the team behind Healthcare AI models and agents from Microsoft and its ecosystem of partners. We excitedly welcome individuals interested in applying advanced AI to solve hard yet meaningful healthcare challenges in a startup-like environment.
