Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be familiar with manufacturing processes, have experience with using analytics to solve problems at the product or process level and is comfortable interacting with engineers through senior management to make complex concepts relatable.
As a senior application engineer, you must have a solid understanding with manufacturing processes for critical aspects of yield, quality, reliability, and operation efficiency throughput high-volume manufacturing environment.
Position Location: Hsinchu or Kaohsiung.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Become expert user of NI's Enterprise software applications Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of NI OptimalPlus software applications to effectively support NI OptimalPlus customers. Responsible for ROI summary reports for assigned account. Scope a technical solution that will help customers realize significant business value in their engineering and high-volume manufacturing using Optimal+ solutions. Enable customer specific customizations requiring advanced scripting and programming techniques. Develop rules (using OT-Rules, an expert rules-based engine) that will insure the improved operational efficiency of the customer’s distributed test operations. Work with NI OptimalPlus Product Management, Sales and Marketing to understand and define customer enhancement requirements, or solve incorrect product or process behavior using data analysis, system log files, application knowledges to setup improvement plan or get bug fixing and validate new fixes/version once released. Provide customer training and product demonstrations, meet customer face-to-face Clearly document solving processes, technical findings, and customized solution to capture and re-use knowledge. Identify opportunities, as a result of real production observations, for improved yield, quality, reliability and operational efficiency and articulating those opportunities to the customer. Enjoy high complexity tasks which required knowledge of technical and business trade-offs, mastering new skills and prioritizing multiple competing projects. Involve on defining priorities for his account (day to day support, new functionalities, training, up sale activities)Who You Are:
