Senior Applications Engineer

Assume responsibility for customer-facing development of rules and operational recommendations, based on thorough performance analysis, for improvement to processes and practices across the Customer supply chain.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Develop rules (using OT-Rules, an expert rules-based engine) that will insure the improved operational efficiency of the customer’s distributed test operations. Identify opportunities, because of real production observations, for improved yield, quality, reliability and operational efficiency and articulating those opportunities to the customer. Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of OptimalPlus software applications to effectively support NI customers. Work with OptimalPlus Product Management, Sales and Business Development to understand and articulate customer enhancement requirements and requests to current and future NI’s OptimalPlus applications. Ensure that every customer is treated professionally and with respect Act as a customer advocate to OptimalPlus Product Management and R&D Who You Are:

You possess a strong customer focus approach, cognizant of the needs and happiness of clients in your interactions and decisions.     For This Role, You Will Need: 5+ years at Semiconductor companies, Fabless or Test House companies on Yield/Product/Test aspects Analytical Skills on Yield & product aspects, Semiconductor Test Production skills  Familiar with SQL, Python, Excel
