Follow best practices to build clean and maintainable code. + Harnessing both industry expertise and Pega’s cutting-edge technology, the team crafts products that address business challenges and enhance operational efficiencies for our customers Seize this opportunity to join a highly engaged, creative, and dynamic CS Industry Applications org, where you'll have the opportunity to work with leading technologies and solve fascinating customer problems. **What You'll Do at Pega:** + Participate in design and development of features in Pega Care Management product for Healthcare Industry + Leverage best in class Pega technology to drive the design, implementation, quality of features using scaled agile methodology + Actively collaborate with Product management, other product teams to come up with high performant, backward compatible and optimal solutions for the features to be developed + Actively participate in the Scrum processes used to develop solutions - providing continuous feedback and enhancing our development, demo and delivery processes + Mentor junior team members, perform code and design reviews, guide them on best practices, identify opportunities to optimize mundane tasks, processes + Take pride in building industry-best demos showcasing awesome capabilities of various Pega products in a way that highly resonates with our end customers + Adopt best design / coding practices supporting backward compatibility, seamless cloud upgrades generating optimal performance. + Carry out PoCs / spikes for use cases dealing with complex scenarios + Actively contribute to Innovation by solving tough problems, automating mundane tasks and optimize efforts **Who You Are:** + You are a skilled software engineer, who can explore, learn, understand and leverage any new technology quickly and thoroughly. + You enjoy solving problems, you can quickly assess them, find root cause and provide innovative solutions to fix them. + You take quality seriously and write automated tests for all code you write. + You enjoy exploring latest developments and best practices in software industry and apply them at work. + You are an excellent team player who puts team first, can collaborate within and outside your team. + You are a self-driven, highly motivated individual who loves to mentor, guide junior team members and grow yourself in the process + You take constructive feedback with open mind and work to continuously improve yourself. + You are a self-starter and a self-learner.
