We are looking for an Application Scientist Sr I to join our team. The Application Scientist will provide technical assistance to internal and external customers through excipient formulation, custom blending, prototyping, and small scale and commercial trial batches. 

What you’ll do:

Lead technical discussion with customers and account managers. Se separaron porque son dos puntos diferentes y los pusimos acá arriba.  Recommend optimal product selection based on customers desired target markets and associated regulatory requirements.  Responsible for technical (R&D) support activities on customer projects. Test colors to determine suitable solutions for customer applications. Coordinate communications between the customer and Sensient’s Regulatory, Sales & Quality Departments.  Travel to customers research and manufacturing sites to promote and support the use of Sensient products. Experience in development food such as seasoning, snacks, processed foods, bakery products. The drive and passion to win!

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor's degree in general science or food science or equivalent education.  A minimum of seven years of experience in the industry and management experience preferred.  Leads projects where product applications are required to offer color solutions to food industry customers. An enthusiastic, creative, and team centered approach to creating an amazing office environment.  English working proficiency 80%.
