Work with OEM customers and R&D engineering team in the development of Electronic Control Units (ECU) with embedded software for the control of an AWD Torque Transfer system, responsibility include customer requirements clarification, supporting product team and Engineering project team, also support sales team for New Business opportunities. Candidates must have strong troubleshooting skill and Application knowledge to be able to support the successful integration of our product into customer vehicles. The candidate must also have strong communication skill to build relationships and foster teamwork with our customer and multi-discipline product development teams. The candidate will be the primary technical customer contact point for BW DMS ECU development team. Key Accountabilities + Present electronic control unit design and system performance and obtain concurrence from customer for New Business Opportunities + Support SOP activities at customer + Responsible for investigating customer product/system related problems + Represents BW-DMS ECU development department for the support of appropriate product teams as product team member. + Responsible for being the primary OEM Customer contact for BW-DMS ECU development team. + Responsible for providing facilitation of upfront analysis with OEM Customer of vehicle assembly plant and warranty returns. + Support customer test trips for systems issues and calibration + Support vehicle demonstrations and early prototype vehicle as needed Qualifications & Requirements + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required (Electrical and /or Vehicle Engineering preferred) + Minimum of 3 years of experience (required) + Minimum 3 years of experience with automotive embedded electronic controller product development (required) + Strong analytical and problem solving skills (required) + Experience working with Vector CAN tools (required) + Experience of working with customers (required) + Excellent interpersonal skills (required) + Excellent presentation skills (required) + Excellent negotiation skills (required) + Excellent English skills (required) + Excellent communication skills (required) + Should accept Frequent business trips + knowledge with ECU hardware and system design (preferred) + Vehicle evaluation and test skills - including limit handling (preferred) Key Competencies + Functional skills + Problem solving + Interpersonal savvy + Communication + Drive for result Internal Use Only: Salary Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
