**Description** **Job Title:** Senior Application Engineer **Duties:** Focus on improving the function of building automation systems for clients. Responsible for creating, designing, and implementing new building automation systems. Design fully functional building automation systems and supporting materials using Visio software. Create project submittals using Automated Logic’s Engineering Design Suite. Create Operation and Maintenance manuals and related documentation. Stay current with new technologies and components used in Automated Logic systems. Provide technical support for installers and technicians. Train or mentor entry level engineering employees. Domestic travel required up to 10% of time for job site visits and vendor coordination. **Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related engineering field, or the foreign equivalent. Three (3) years of related professional experience, including each of the following: 3 years of experience utilizing mechanical engineering principles; 1 year of experience with HVAC or control system architecture and sequence of operation analysis or interpretation; 1 year of experience with control panel layout/design and control logic development; 1 year of experience with Microsoft Visio or an equivalent diagramming software application; 1 year of experience with AutoCAD software application; 1 year of experience specifying instrumentation for flow, pressure, and temperature; and 1 year of experience selecting and sizing modulating valves for steam and water applications.
