The Boeing Company’s Infrastructure Technology & Operation organization is currently seeking a Senior Application Deployment Engineer to join the Deployment Management Product team in Austin, TX.
The Infrastructure Technology & Operations (IT&O) team is an essential capability responsible for delivering premier technology products and services to advance our enterprise digital goals and business outcomes. We build, integrate, and operate solutions including cloud, network, storage, client computing, mobility, and collaboration systems globally.
The selected candidate will assume a pivotal role in packaging, deploying, and maintaining critical applications and servers to support key programs. This position will require a steadfast commitment to maintaining adherence to established scopes, timelines, and quality standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Deploys and supports high-volume, mission-critical applications on IBM AIX & Linux, and Unix platforms
Deploys complex high availability applications in IBM, AIX, Linux, and Unix platforms
Manages disaster recovery systems and manages load balances
Installs and upgrades integration systems
Automates repetitive deployment tasks
Troubleshoots issues due to hard drives, mounting of disks, and logical volumes
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in deploying and supporting high-volume, mission-critical applications running on AIX/LINUX/Windows servers
5+ years of experience in deploying complex high availability applications
Experience with managing disaster recovery systems
Experience in deploying ENOVIA applications to AIX/Linux/Windows servers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of demonstrable experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense or Aerospace environment
3+ years of experience communicating and building positive relationships with internal and external customers

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $120,700 - $163,300
