A client with Kforce is seeking an Senior API Security Engineer to join their team remotely. This person must be able to work EST hours. The Engineer comes with 5-7 years of experience, including at least 2-4 years securing APIs in production environments, to harden communication paths between wallets, blockchain networks, KYC providers, and vault systems. They will ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and authenticity of cross-service API interactions. Key Responsibilities: * Secure wallet-to-chain, wallet-to-KYC, and wallet-to-vault API integrations * Implement encryption, token validation, and mutual TLS for sensitive communication * Conduct threat modeling and enforce robust API security controls and rate limiting * Work with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security into API lifecycle * Monitor API traffic for anomalies, abuse, or potential exploits
