About the Team

The BLAW/BTAX/BGOV Platform Services team plays a critical role in supporting our product development lifecycle. We offer a suite of robust, centrally managed services, including a Kubernetes-backed PaaS, that enables teams to develop, deploy, and manage applications both on-premises and in AWS. We help deliver software solutions which are secure, reliable and scalable by following a security-first approach. 

Currently, we are building a scalable framework for cataloging and exposing RESTful APIs to enable rapid development of various AI/ML features and provide necessary authentication/authorization safeguards to access them.

You’ll tackle complex technical challenges related to scalability, security, and cross-regional collaboration, and help in building the foundation for various Agentic AI workflows. We’ll trust you to

Contribute to the design and development of the API platform cataloging major services.

Collaborate with various application development and API governance teams on defining standards while delivering tools to enforce strict quality standards and reduce time to market.

Help manage and evolve our CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to align with best practices and security requirements.

Apply Agile principles to iteratively build, improve, and deliver solutions with a focus on productivity and team velocity.

You'll need to have:

4+ years of experience with modern OOP languages (like Java, Python, Ruby), and relational databases (like Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL).

Experience in RESTful API design and latest Authentication/Authorization techniques like OAuth and JWT.

Experience with designing large-scale distributed systems following best practices in observability and fault tolerance.

A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience.

We’d love to see

Knowledge and interest in secure development techniques and vulnerabilities prevention including CI-level security controls, IAM, storage/transit encryption, zero-trust architectures, API security etc.

Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.JS, React or Angular.

Experience with Kubernetes/docker/containers and designing systems on AWS following a well-architected framework.

Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Salary Range = 160000 - 240000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
