We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our team. The team is dedicated to delivering innovative, high-performance mobile solutions that enhance the customer experience and enable digital transformation.

In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize Android applications, working closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and backend developers. You will leverage modern Android frameworks, follow best coding practices, and mentor junior developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications for the Client's ecosystem.

Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.

Integrate Android apps with RESTful APIs and backend systems.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

Partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver user-focused features on time and with high quality.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Quality & Performance

Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.

Ensure applications meet high performance, security, and reliability standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay up-to-date with emerging Android trends, tools, and frameworks.

Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

5+ years of Android development experience with a proven track record of delivering production-quality apps.

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.

Proven experience in Android app development with a strong portfolio of published apps or projects.Proficiency in Kotlin with clean, maintainable, and scalable code practices.In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, various Android OS versions, and handling multiple screen sizes and device configurations.Experience integrating RESTful APIs to connect Android apps to backend services securely and efficiently.Hands-on experience with popular third-party libraries and APIs, including Retrofit, Glide, and Firebase.Solid understanding and practical use of architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVI.Experience with version control systems like Git, including working in collaborative environments with branching strategies.Proficient in using dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger to manage and inject app dependencies effectively.

Preferred:

Experience in the telecommunications industry or large-scale enterprise mobile applications.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and dependency injection (e.g., Hilt/Dagger).

Knowledge of reactive programming (RxJava, Coroutines, Flow).

Salary:

The base salary range for this position is $92,250 -$130,000, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
