Senior Analyst - Product Development, High Jewelry

Position Overview:

The Senior Analyst - Product Development will oversee the daily execution of new product development from concept to launch. Responsibilities include communication and effectively interacting with cross-functional counterparts to assist in the facilitation and approval of each development stage, managing new product samples, coordinating product systematic setup, organizing sample photography, product signoff and coordination of meetings.

Key Accountabilities:

Project Management

Execute project plans throughout supplier development of multiple new products with varying scope as well as business continuity projects. Identify project risk and work closely with project manager on mitigation plan. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to monitor and track key milestones progress throughout development to meet outlined objective. Work closely with Design team to ensure Design vision is achieved. Work with Gem Acquisition/Diamond Division team to supply stones promptly. Establish stone shipment timeline and coordinate color and diamond shipment processes with internal teams. Assist Manager with product setup to support all internal meetings. Assist the Director and Manager in the coordination of cross-functional resources to facilitate project completion, including support as needed fromDesign, Category Management, Inventory Management, Strategic Sourcing, Jewelry Supply Planning. Closely monitor project cost throughout development process. Coordinate project set up and sign-off processes.

Tracking and Reporting

Support the maintenance of accurate project tracking documents and systems (such as inbound/outbound sample tracking, timely close out of invoices, commercial invoices, inventory management with IC on audits in addition to daily maintenance of samples). Maintain security of new samples, borrowed merchandise, and loose stones. Coordinate management and security of all sample borrow needs for Marketing, PR and internal meetings.

Communication Management

Build credible working relationships with Category Management, Design, Industrial, Planning, GA/DD and other teams to drive business needs. Assist with updating project detail documents (such as Category Master) to support development responsibilities. Provide organized and pertinent information at design meeting reviews. Coordinate the agendas and update recaps for department-led cross functional meetings. Communicate with vendors regarding all aspects of new product development and manage internal and external vendor communication. Provide prompt project information in support of strategic initiatives to Global Merchandising, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Publicity, and Training as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of prior relevant product development experience Bachelor's Degree Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint) with ability to learn new software Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and project management Flexibility to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Organized and detail oriented Ability to manage and uphold departmental standards

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with jewelry manufacturing preferred Knowledge of Tiffany & Co. merchandise information systems a plus Basic Gemstone knowledge; Graduate Gemologist a plus Prior Merchandising experience preferably in a luxury branded product

The hiring range for this position ranges from$101,575 - 137,425. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates relevant skills and experience.
