If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape.Job overview and responsibilitiesThe Senior Analyst – Inventory Management is responsible for the strategic productivity and tactical execution of United Airlines’ aircraft spare parts inventory. The Senior Analyst will accomplish tactical inventory execution through active project management and inventory planning. Responsibilities include:A continuous focus on improving operational reliability by minimizing aircraft out-of-service events, delays, and cancellations related to the unavailability of spare aircraft partsPrimary focus on exceptions to automated inventory planning tools including, but not limited to: development and execution of inventory required to support new station set ups, deallocation and redistribution of inventory due to station closures, new fleet initial provisioning, individual component pooling agreement coordination and management, external component management agreements, allocations in support of initiatives outside the scope of planning processesOut-of-service aircraft event investigation, reporting, and mitigation as necessaryProviding actionable insight to short- and long-term forecasts for the purposes of budgetary planning and integrated business planningExecuting against forecast and budgetary projectionsUtilizing analytical dashboards, automated tools, and the airline’s transaction-based computer ERP system (SCEPTRE)

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelor Degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or comparable experienceMinimum 2-5 years experience in fields of the Supply Chain, Airline or Manufacturing IndustryUnderstanding of Supply Chain Planning and ManagementStrong communication and writing skillsSelf Motivated and engrained Continuous Improvement experienceStrong people skills and ability to develop internal and external relationshipsProven ability to generate consensus amongst disparate viewpointsExperience in project managing a number of large project with varying prioritization and completion datesDemonstrated abilities to find creative ways to reduce operational costsAbility to work to tight deadlines and manage workload accordingly through task prioritizationPossess a high level of accuracy and attention to detailSelf-starter with high degree of initiative and ability to manage deadlinesStrong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple prioritiesAnalytical approach to problem solving, with attention to detail and a sense of urgencyAbility to influence others outside area of direct responsibilityMust be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorshipMust be fluent in English (written and spoken)Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
