You also have: + 7+ years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment (global diversified company). + Bachelor’s Degree in EHS management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or closely related technical discipline. + EHS Certification e.g., CHMM, CSP preferred. + Strong knowledge in Machine Safety, NFPA 70E, LOTO, Ergonomic, Hoist & crane, management systems ,EHS local regulation, + Bilingual ( Spanish , English), some level of Portuguese preferred **What You’ll Do** This role was formed to provide technical EHS support to assure full EHS compliance before, during and after the project execution. Bring EHS knowledge to the Monterrey and Reynosa team and the project team to lead MOC process and warranty a smooth transition to all the new products, and production lines This role includes providing EHS managerial oversight and execution of operations in their portfolio. Specifically, you’ll: + Business partner with EHS Manager, Project leader + Support for Plant manager & Regional EHS Director + Responsible to ensure full compliance with MOC + Responsible to do machine risk assessment and warranty full machine safety compliance + Responsible to do ergonomic risk assessment and suggest risk reduction actions + Compliance Assurance ( all legal compliance and SBD policies) + Directly support the interpretation, translation, and implementation for execution for EHS programs and policies + Lead incident investigations, create 4-Block summaries including validation of root cause and sustainable corrective actions + Support all MOC activities + Support the project to be aligned to environmental objectives (achieving Zero Waste to Landfill, energy and water conservation) + Provide EHS training for contractors and project people. + Participate and lead agency inspection response requirements for EHS legal authorities (related to project) + Assure Applicable Permit compliance & data entry + This position reports directly to the Regional EHS Director and in dottler line to local EHS + This position is full time on site **Benefits & Perks** You’ll get a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits plan that includes medical, dental, life.
