How will you make an impact in this role?

Lead the design, implementation and assessment of sales practices and other business conduct risks, ensuring that GCS is managing those risks in accordance with our company’s risk appetite Support the successful implementation of a global Business Conduct program in conformity with American Express Management Policy (AEMP) 88 Collaborate closely with Market Compliance Officers (MCO), Control Management, General Counsel’s Organization (GCO), to comply with internal standards, policies, and regulatory obligations Envision, develop, and deliver a comprehensive approvals path for internal sales-supporting content Identifying & setting measures of success, reporting, and efficiency targets Collaborate with the Content Governance and Oversight (policies) team to implement effective policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Results oriented, with a track record of driving results across multiple channels and initiatives Proven success in transformational activities Strong communication, relationship building and collaboration skills, including influencing progress and decision making Solid understanding of key operational metrics, levers and various servicing strategies and understanding of risk, controls, and compliance Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to move quickly between big picture and detail and produce meaningful conclusions Comfortable working with large volume of data through and organized and systematic approach, to create clean, accurate records and meaningful reporting Strong process and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize appropriately and manage multiple projects/workstreams effectively Seeks new ways to improve effectiveness, understands the latest conduct risk trends and has passion for innovation Self-motivated, pro-active individual with excellent attention to detail Experience in business process improvement and driving governance requirements Ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change with time management Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint
