The Opportunity

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Senior Analyst to join our International Total Rewards Team. In this role, you will be responsible of supporting global Total Rewards processes, participating in market trends (benchmarks) – surveys and assisting colleagues with benefits issues. Support the development and execution of strategies that drive talent attraction, engagement, and retention across Hyatt’s business units.

Some of the activities of your role include aligning the Compensation and Benefits program with the overall strategy and goals of the company, as well as keeping records and job descriptions updated; analyzing data on wages and salaries and the cost of benefits; determine market rates and design bonus programs.

The Role

Responsibilities include general oversight of sample processes. This includes preparation and review of sample work, monthly and quarterly sample work as well as analytics across sample function. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the enhancement of sample focus area and participating in special projects that incorporate a wide range of sample function exposure.

A successful Senior Analyst Compensation Benefits will:

Partner with managers and HR Team to evaluate and document jobs and ensure employees are classified into correct jobs and grades.

Develop and recommend compensation procedures.

Provide guidelines to managers to assist in the administration of salary adjustments.

Perform job evaluations and salary benchmarking

Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations

Participate in compensation surveys and analyzes results.

Handle special projects as assigned

Strong knowledge of benefits programs and laws relating to benefits.

Mercer IPE Methodology.

Salary Surveys and job matching.

Advanced Excel knowledge and other data base programs desired.

Experience Preferred:

Commitment to customer service and ability to work in an oriented environment.

Leadership skills.

Data Management and data analysis.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

English oral and written preferred.

Strong attention to detail.
