Summary:To enhance the support of our Shared Services function, we are adding a Senior Analyst that will report to the Cash Application Manager to support the accounts receivable and credit function. This position will focus on various reconciliation and month end activities, aging and customer analysis, data mining / ad hoc report creation, and assist the Director of Credit and the Vice President of Shared Services with process automation, implementation of standard work processes, and continuous improvement activities. Responsibilities:To be successful, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and abilities required.Work with Shared Service and Division personnel to oversee the accounts receivable bad debt, allowance for doubtful accounts, credit memo reserve, along with other processes assigned.Perform reconciliation activity for the various Shared Service functions.Perform complex cash application research.Oversee escheat process for unclaimed property.Prepare journal entries, reporting and any other ad-hoc analysis as requested to support cash reconciliationsEvaluate and recommend new approaches and procedures that result in process improvements and efficienciesSupport internal and external auditors’ requests, including research and analysis of audit requests.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.3 years of general accounting experience preferred (strong background in reconciliation activity is essential).Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skillsExperience using JD Edwards preferred.Knowledge of High Radius cloud-based solutions preferred.An analytical, detail-oriented, problem solver who works well as part of a team and independently.Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced PowerPoint skills.Experience with Continuous Improvement process methodology preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of both internal and external customers.Ability to multi-task and produce accurate and timely results.
