Role/ Department:

As part of the Ireland Investor AML Operations team, the role requires the completion of a workload, with guidance from colleagues and line management, to support all aspects of AML of investors in line with AML Legislation/Regulation & Guidance/Best Practice. The Ireland Investor AML Department’s processes and procedures. In addition, the role requires partners to hold, build and maintain strong relationships with the Northern Trust Transfer Agency and Client Services Departments, as well as other key stakeholders, to deliver a robust AML service to Northern Trust’s client and investor base.

 The key responsibilities of the role include:

Conduct both first and second reviews of investor documentation to a high standardReview the work of others and provide feedback as requiredResponds to internal and external inquiries related to Anti Money Laundering requirements for investorsReview of procedural requirements & operational processes with a view to improving and/or making more efficientMay have direct interaction with relationship manager or senior management relative to the AML serviceResolves problems, identifies the most appropriate solution and may establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives • Has direct impact, on the quality of the tasks performed or services provided by the teamComplete reporting for clients on the AML status of their investors aswell as preparing internal stats

Skills/ Qualifications:

The successful candidate will benefit from having:  

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to be able to communicate with all partnersTechnical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft and Peoplesoft) is preferredKnowledge of applicable laws and regulations acquired through formal education or experience. Knowledge of Irish, UK or Cayman AML regulations is desirable.Analytical and communication skills required to analyse and summarize informationUnderstands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with othersKnowledge of AML, Customer Identification Program (CIP), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory requirements

Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required to analyse and summarize information
