Your Opportunity An opportunity exists for a Senior Analyst, Taxation to join our team to assist in the US income tax with a focus on federal and international income taxes. The Senior Analyst, Taxation will provide support in the day-to-day operations as part of the US Tax Team. This position reports to the Manager, International Taxation in the US and will work closely with financial staff from all the Company’s regions. This hybrid opportunity is located in Denver, CO. Your Key Responsibilities - Prepare/review US federal proformas and top consolidations for consolidated corporate income tax returns. - Prepare/review standalone federal corporate income tax returns for non-consolidated entities. - Prepare/review federal partnership income tax returns. - Assist with supporting workpapers for corporate and partnership income tax filings. - Prepare international tax workpapers and forms for US income tax compliance. - Review and assist in preparing the quarterly and year-end tax provisions. - Prepare quarterly estimates and the extension for federal tax. - Review tax notices and determine resolution required. - Assist with federal tax audits, as needed. - Prepare and record journal entries in Oracle. - Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. - Prepare state and local income tax returns. - Other tax duties as required. Your Capabilities and Credentials - Extensive knowledge of US federal, international, and state corporate taxation. - Extensive knowledge of US federal and state partnership taxation. - Experience with Oracle or other large Enterprise systems would be an asset. - Experience with OneSource or other tax compliance software would be an asset. - Intermediate to advance proficiency in Excel. - Ability to work either as part of a team or independently with a full range of staff. - Ability to work independently to company deadlines and to manage multiple competing priorities. - Independently organize and prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of deliverables. - Highly competent communication skills, including written and oral. - Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Education and Experience - An accounting degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) is required. - 3-4 years of experience in accounting for income taxes and tax return compliance, in a public accounting firm or equivalent industry experience.
