**Location of Position** **:** Shanghai, China **Role & Responsibilities:** Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position) : The Senior Analyst will be a key contributor in transforming APAC Supply Chain Operations team into an organization that drives best practices in Supply Chain Analytics so as to bring significant impact to Supply Chain & its related area. To succeed, you will utilize both relationship building & strong analytical skill sets to lead strategic development of descriptive, predictive & gradually prescriptive analytical models. Key Result Areas: + Provide timely & constructive guidance in terms of Analytics roles, mindset & best practice + Train the potential analysts & Super Users to understand deeply the SC-related data & acquire analytics skills through active on-the-job sharing & mentoring + Promote the analytics mindset to the whole SC team, and also transform them with high literacy of analytics so as to adopt into their daily processes, with the objective to fully integrate business knowledge, analytics knowhow and technology + Actively listen to SC functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to make better decisions & translate them into Analytics solutions in the Agile approach & situational leadership style + Challenge the status quo, and lead the teams to think creatively & select the best Analytical perspectives & steps + Facilitate the cross-functional collaboration + Bring new Analytics perspectives/algorithms/models to tackle complex scenarios + Identify the road blockers & engage the relevant teams to drive the long-term solutions + Be accountable for delivering consistently high-quality deliverables + Engage in corporate projects & initiatives, mainly focusing in Data and/or Analytics area **Competency Requirements :** Behavioral Competencies - + Passionate for insight-driven thinking, can extract patterns from volumes of data to drive insights & operational efficiencies + Strong problem-solving skills, ability to provide structure in ambiguous situation + Strong attention to detail & commitment to drive data accuracy + High on curiosity and strong desire to learn Functional Competencies – + Preferrable with experience in a fast paced & highly responsive supply chain environment + Prior retail industry background strongly preferred **Experience** + Minimum working experience (related to Supply Chain / Data & Analytics): 3 years + Hands on experience in using data analytic tools is required, e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, SAS & Alteryx + Hands on experience in databases such as SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Amazon redshift preferred + Hands on experience in applying Predictive modelling preferred + Experience working in external consulting or internal project environment preferred **Academic Qualifications** + Minimum Degree Held: Bachelor’s Degree + Subject Expert In: Data Science, Computer Science, Operation Research, Supply Chain, Engineering, Statistics, Business or related field **Language Proficiency:** + Fluent in English and Chinese **Specific Working Conditions** + Frequency of Travel: Not Applicable + Other Specific Working Conditions : Not Applicable R-20250717-0024 VF Diversity Vision Statement VF is committed to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes and values the differences among all of our associates, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we live and conduct business.
