Title and Summary
Senior Analyst, Sourcing & Supplier ManagementResponsibilities:•\tManage assigned requests by working with internal business units to ensure Mastercard is purchasing within the bounds of published policies
•\tCollaborate with different groups within Sourcing (Regional Sourcing, Category Management, Data, Payments, etc.) to ensure business units are purchasing efficiently within the guidelines of Global Supply Chain’s set strategy
•\tAssist key stakeholders with procurement related questions
•\tBuild relationships with same stakeholders to gain understanding of purchases coming down pipeline
•\tUnderstand in detail Mastercard’s procure-to-pay process
•\tHave knowledge and understanding of the different systems actively utilized by Sourcing and how they interact (i.e. Coupa, Oracle, Workday, Remedy)
•\tAnalyze incoming procurement contracts to determine whether the listed terms and conditions are favorable to Mastercard or present any risk to Mastercard
•\tIf unfavorable terms and conditions are noted, engage in high level negotiations to minimize risk and achieve cost savings
•\tHelp business units source suppliers who can effectively fulfill their requirements by facilitating RFxs
•\tAbility to develop sourcing strategies around multiple business units
•\tAbility to complete benchmarking exercises to ensure best practices and pricing are put in place
•\tAssist other CoE members by providing knowledge on any procurement or Mastercard based questions they may have
•\tLiaise between the CoE analysts and the CoE managers to communicate overall morale and operational status of the CoE
•\tLead projects from a CoE perspective that require Sourcing CoE input
•\tSeek improvements to the Mastercard purchasing process
•\tManages team of Associate Analysts/Analysts as a Team or Category Team Lead
