Senior Analyst, Privacy Compliance
Job Summary:

The Global Public Policy department within the Disney Corporate Legal organization has responsibility for charting the company’s strategic vision with respect to emerging global issues, such as consumer privacy, Internet governance, and emerging markets. One of the core functions of the department is overseeing compliance with legal requirements and corporate policy related to the collection and governance of personal information from customers and employees. In particular, the privacy group within the Global Public Policy department has been tasked with maintaining the enterprise-wide privacy compliance function, which provides the proactive audit and documentation capabilities to support the overall accountability framework.

TWDC’s commercial success depends on a direct trust relationship with our consumers, employees, and partners. This individual will be an integral part of the Privacy team with responsibility for implementing and auditing compliance with legal requirements for data collection across all mobile applications, websites, and other devices and platforms, such as wearables and set-top boxes, deployed by domestic and international business segments.


What You Will Do:

The Privacy Sr. Analyst will be responsible for reviewing digital properties for compliance with Privacy Legal requirements globally. This individual will also review advertising and sponsorships as needed for compliance with various company policies. There will be areas for growth within this position such as training and auditing of our business segment partners. The Privacy Sr. Analyst will be expected to understand compliance processes and standards, identify issues that need to be addressed, communicate those issues to business partners, and document resolutions to ensure compliance. Finally, the Privacy Sr. Analyst will assist leadership with projects, creation of and updates to training resources, templates and compliance materials and provide project assistance as needed to the Privacy team including identifying opportunities to improve processes.  
 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

3+ years of relevant work experience within corporate compliance, guest experience, web QA, or digital advertising ecosystem.Strong written and oral communication skills – particularly within large organizations and/or with attorneysProven experience in successfully navigating complex organizations with excellent internal and external partner management skillsExperience managing multiple projects in various phases of development and prioritizing diverse workloads on a daily basisExcellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining focus and attention to detailSelf-motivated, results drivenExperience reading and interpreting complicated documentsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (both in designing/creating documents, databases, and spreadsheets)Passion for understanding and serving the unique Disney community

Education:

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
 
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $94,200 to $126,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
