This professional role supports deployment of our CORE Operating System to a cell, line, or work area within Aerostructures to drive best-in-class performance.
**This position will be working onsite in Foley, AL.**
**What you will do:**
+ Engages in the continuous improvement (CI) culture of the business through the use of CORE/Lean tools and other methodologies
+ Influences peers in the application of CORE/Lean tools and other methodologies
+ Understands the benefits, impacts, and results of CORE Operating System strategy within work area
+ Follows CORE Operating System governance, including policies, practices, & procedures are followed by direct reports
+ Achieves day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on operational plans, policy deployment goals, & initiatives
+ Applies basic CORE/CI or other Lean tools to improve current products, processes, & standards
+ Builds effective networks across the work area
+ Seeks learning and development opportunities that support current and future business needs
+ Contributes to CORE/CI progression within work area
+ Collaborates to resolve routine or simple problems and executes on closure plans
+ Trains individuals and teams on the theory and application of basic CORE/CI tools
+ Implements best practices within the organization
+ Participates & Co-leads kaizen/CI events, including leadership weeks
**Must Have Qualifications:**
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field
+ Experience driving process improvement
+ Experience working in a team environment
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Industrial Engineering or similar technical degree preferred
+ Experience of Lean/CORE principles for example: 5S, Standard Work, Visual Controls, RTPR / QCPC, Kaizen events
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Experience in customer facing roles
+ Practical knowledge of CORE/Lean tools and other methodologies

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
