Senior Analyst, Small Business Digital Retention Marketing
American Express is the leading payment card issuer for small businesses in the United States and supports business owners with a wide range of differentiated products and services to help them run and grow their businesses. The Small Business Customer Retention team within GCS Marketing is responsible for building high impact strategies for At-risk Customers through proactive and reactive treatments.
The Senior Analyst, Digital Retention Marketing will lead a cohesive marketing strategy to reengage Small Business Card Members through targeted marketing channels and launch first-ever digital marketing treatments designed to target at-risk Customers, re-engage them on their Card and with Amex, and drive spend. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the digital strategy for at-risk customers and contribute to our Small Business customer loyalty strategy. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders including Marketing, Product, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, and other Teams. Additionally, this person will analyze results and leverage insights to enhance the At-risk customer experiences and campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and enhance the Digital Retention engagement curriculum designed to specifically address customer needs, drive spend and decrease attrition through strategic thinking using sharp project management skills Monitor, report and analyze campaign results, providing recommendations to define future campaigns while finding opportunities to increase performance Collaborate with internal stakeholders (AIM, Product) and external agencies in developing creatives, targeting strategies and executing marketing campaigns across digital channels (EM, MYCA, etc.) Expand existing initiatives by leveraging card member research, campaign results, product insights, and capability enhancements.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of email and/or digital marketing experience (financial services experience is a plus) Experience in digital marketing, PMO from kick-off to launch, understanding of execution processes and capabilities, and can easily adapt to change with a flexible attitude Previous work with creative agencies a plus Keen ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, operate autonomously, and prioritize work Highly collaborative and comfortable in a cross-functional environment with many stakeholders and proven ability to influence internal and external partners Solutions oriented and ability to lead projects and overcome roadblocks Creative ability to ideate new ideas in enhancing digital retention engagement curriculum, leveraging expertise from internal stakeholders, external partners, and research Comfort in white space a plus Experience with Adobe Analytics a plus Intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking to proactively identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and share creative solutions Positive team player with an ability to uplift team culture and build relationships among partners and colleagues alike
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
