We are looking for a highly-motivated and experienced Senior Contracts Analyst who can provide immediate contributions to support critical DoD and Commercial Aerospace program pursuits. Our ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a foundational background in contract management, negotiation and/or administration, with relevant experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry. They will be a collaborative leader who can work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. Occasional travel will be required for this position (10-15% to support onsite audits, customer negotiation meetings). As a Senior Contracts Analyst at Collins Aerospace Mission Systems (Integrated Missions Solutions, Thermal Electronics and Defense Solutions, Electronics Solutions), you will be responsible for performing contracts support functions for both prime and subcontracts, from capture through proposal, negotiation through contract award and all phases of contract administration.

What YOU Will Do:

Providing contract administration support by reviewing, interpreting and negotiating contract requirements, contract change / modification impactsPerforming proposal preparation, contract negotiation and administration assistance for programs and special projects as assignedSupport Contracts leadership by conducting risk assessments, creating risk mitigation plans and proposing alternative approaches to contract execution through redlines, as appropriateServing as an authorized, empowered representative for Collins, interfacing with Customer buying command representatives to build effective relationships and manage contracts to support operational/strategic business goalsCoordinating solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Contract Performance and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulationsSupporting audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support proposal and contract related activities and business systems compliance verificationEvaluating and coordinating proposals, investigating significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, data requirements, schedules, etc. for Contracts leadership to reconcileSupporting Contract Manager with collecting contractual data and compiling reports in response to Collins/RTX corporate and Mission Systems level data callsContract Closeout: ensuring timely contract closure by initiating closeout activities as required by terms and conditions. For contracts that include USG Property, ensuring that Contract Closeout Letters (Property Clearance) are submitted to the Contract Administration Office (CAO) and /or Prime Contractor

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2 years of professional experience or an Advanced Degree in a related fieldEntry Level / Foundational Knowledge of FAR/DFARS. This includes a basis understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), including familiarity with key principles and the ability to apply foundational concepts in government contracting and procurement processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProven ability to develop internal and external relationships; must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skillsMust be detail-oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment; Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications We Prefer:

Prior experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle (cradle to grave), including proposals, negotiations, administration and closeoutProven ability to collaboratively interface with the various disciplines of the Program Management Team (PMT) such as Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Development or any related functionNCMA Credentials (CFCM™, CCMA™, etc.) and other Industry-Specific Certifications a plusProcurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) experience a plusFamiliarity with RTX / Collins Aerospace Policies and Procedures, business systems and tools a plus.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
