The Senior Algorithm Developer m/f/d is responsible for designing and developing efficient algorithms tailored to specific computational and data processing for iTero scanner software. The focus is on optimizing existing algorithms to enhance performance and work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other team members to integrate these algorithms into larger systems. Develop and implement testing scenarios to ensure the algorithms function correctly and produce detailed technical documentation. Providing user and technical support during system and user acceptance testing phases is also a key part of their role.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex C++ and Python code base 

• Work closely with team leader, teammates, and other teams members in order to reach joint goals

• Review code of other team members and proactively discuss ideas, propose ways to improve their solutions

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, or related fields (Math, Physics, Electrical Engineering)

Experience:

• Strong background of commercial development in C++ (C++ 11/14 or higher)

• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures 

• Mathematical background, including linear algebra and analytical geometry

• English language at least B2  level

• 5-7 years of experience in software developer position

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;

• Proficiency in algorithm development and data processing.

• Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills. Fluent speaking and writing in English.

• Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
