PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Senior Aircraft Technician – Maintenance & Repair to help uphold the highest standards in the aviation industry. In this critical hands-on role, you'll ensure aircraft remain safe, operational, and ready for takeoff — with a focus on precision, safety, and reliability. What You’ll Be Doing — Day-to-Day Responsibilities 

As a Senior Aircraft Technician, your expertise will directly impact aircraft safety and performance. You’ll be responsible for: 

Conducting detailed inspections, repairs, replacements, installations, and alignments of aircraft parts and systems 

Performing operational checks and troubleshooting on key aircraft systems including: 

Fuel systems 

Hydraulics 

Landing gear 

Fuselage, rotor systems, and engine controls 

Supporting flight tests and customer delivery inspections, including interface and problem resolution 

Completing all tasks with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and FAA compliance 
 

What You’ll Bring Onboard — Qualifications 

Required: 

Minimum 6 years of aviation maintenance experience — must include helicopter maintenance 

FAA A&P license or the ability to qualify for a Repairman Certificate (requires 18 months of maintenance experience on Customer helicopters) 

Solid understanding of standard practices and troubleshooting techniques 

Ability to perform physical duties required for aircraft maintenance (lifting, squatting, operating tools, PPE usage) 

Preferred: 

Safran Turbomeca engine experience 

Prior experience in customer-facing delivery preparation or test flights 


 

Physical & Operational Requirements 

Onsite work: 90% 

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs / 28 kg, operate production tools, and wear PPE (e.g., safety shoes, hearing protection) 

Travel-ready on short notice when needed 

Must be comfortable working on helicopter systems and components

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
