Senior AI Specialist - Supply Chain Optimization

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Senior AI Specialist - Supply Chain Optimization. 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year.

Job Summary:

The Senior Specialist IT serves as the key link between business stakeholders and the IT department. With a focus on utilizing business analysis skills, they translate business needs into IT technical designs, suggesting and executing analytical solutions to help the organization meet its objectives.  As the Senior Specialist IT - Business Analyst, this individual excels in utilizing various business analysis tools and techniques, boasting substantial expertise in IT process and technology enhancements and deployment. The role demands a comprehensive background in business analysis, proficiency in advanced business analysis and governance procedures, as well as a strong business acumen. Additionally, this position offers strategic guidance in advancing project goals on a cross-regional scale

What you’ll do:

Job Responsibilities    
•    The Senior Specialist IT is self-managed  and will provide  estimates for project work, define business requirements planning & approach, stakeholder assessment, plan, facilitate requirements elicitation workshops/interviews, perform analysis of requirements, manage traceability of requirements through design, development and validation.  The role will work across regional and sector organizations.
•    Business Analysis Planning: Plan the business analysis approach for projects, determine the deliverables, estimate business analysis effort, and determine metrics to be used to monitor the success of analysis work.
•    Requirements Elicitation: Conduct requirements gathering activities (brainstorming, focus groups, interviews, observation, prototyping, workshops), document the results, and validate that the documented requirements meet the stakeholders’ needs.
•    Requirements Management & Communication: Assess requirements to ensure they fall within the solution scope, ensure requirements are aligned with and traceable to business objectives and solution design, and ensure requirements are communicated and presented in a format that are understandable to stakeholders, including solutions designers and developers.
•    Enterprise Analysis: Evaluate the business need, problem or opportunity to justify the investment necessary to deliver the solution, assess the capability of the IT organization to leverage in developing a solution, and determine the most feasible solution.
•    Requirements Analysis: Analyze, prioritize and organize requirements to ensure efforts focus on the most critical needs, model requirements to demonstrate process and or solution function, and validate that the requirements support the delivery of value.
•    Business Process Design:  Design end to end business processes to fit requirements, soliciting input from numerous key stakeholders and consider both IT and business input, such as governance.
•    Solution Assessment: Review and evaluate IT solution designs to ensure the proposed solution meets the business requirements, accounting for cross business needs and operations outside of the US.
•    Validation: Coordinate the approach and development of use cases and test scenarios with the customer to ensure integration and/or user acceptance testing is complete and validates that project requirements have been achieved.  Work cross functional IT teams such as governance, development, QA and Infrastructure to ensure applications are validated, having a solid understanding of application development cycle, from source application, to ETL, to reporting development.
•    Lead small teams of Business Analysts and mentor to new business analysts, working on large concurrent multi-million dollar initiatives ($5-$10 Million).
•    Analyze product Supply Chain Management processes and identify areas where AI can be applied to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
•    Define and develop AI-driven solutions to address identified opportunities.
•    Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in AI technologies.
•    Provide training and support to team members on AI tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications (Must Haves):

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum seven (7) years in the IT fieldMinimum of 7 years working in a customer facing roleMinimum of three (3) working as a Business Analyst, preferably in a Supply Chain, Logistics or technology environment.Experience in assimilating Supply Chain data in ERP, Planning and Project Management tools.No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of one of the following locations to be considered: Galesburg, MI: Houston, TX: Menomonee Falls, WI: Moon Township, PA: Raleigh, NC, or Beachwood, OH.Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain or related field.Experience with AI tools and platforms such as Palantir, DemandAI or similar.Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.Skills:

Soft skills   

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  This position will often work with other business analysts, project managers and business teams on a regular basis.Good team-oriented interpersonal skills. Assists with facilitation sessions, may require some coaching on how to lead and influence others, and to effectively interface and work with a wide variety of people.  Good team player, self-motivated and committed with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
