Senior AI Software Engineer

Full-Time | Hybrid | NYC

We’re looking for a senior-level software engineer with strong AI product experience to join a mission-driven team focused on improving access to care through intelligent, AI-enabled tools. This is a unique opportunity to lead hands-on integration of large language models and machine learning into real-world systems — with a direct impact on how individuals and organizations navigate complex support workflows.

What You'll Do

Build and deploy AI-powered features, including tools for automation, smart documentation, and decision support

Integrate LLMs and ML services directly into the product experience to enhance user and clinical workflows

Work closely with design, ops, and product to shape user-facing AI functionality

Own core development across the stack, including backend logic and cloud deployment

Drive zero-to-one projects, shipping fast while balancing quality and reliability

Partner cross-functionally to ensure our AI tooling aligns with privacy, compliance, and ethical standards

What We’re Looking For

6+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years applying AI or LLMs in production

Track record of building and shipping full-stack AI-powered products

Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, and/or Python

Experience deploying cloud-based applications (AWS preferred)

Strong product instincts with an ability to turn ambiguous goals into shippable features

Prior experience in early-stage or fast-moving teams — startup or high-growth environment preferred

Based in NYC and comfortable working in person 2+ days/week

Nice to Have

Experience in healthcare, edtech, or mission-driven sectors

Background in LLM prompt engineering, API fine-tuning, or embedding-based search

Exposure to privacy-sensitive or regulated environments
