Job Responsibility + Develops and monitors strategic operating goals, objectives and budgets; reports on operational performance, justification, and/or corrective actions. + Pursues cost reduction opportunities; identifies and builds business relationships to advance strategic goals. + Collaborates with the leadership to develop strategic category plans based on historical performance. + Develops policies and procedures governing product selection and assortment, supplier negotiation, product pricing and promotions, and the creation of marketing materials. + Oversees the collection and analysis of data that provides insight into shopper behavior, consumer trends, or the competitive marketplace. + Identifies opportunities to improve the sourcing approach and procurement process which could have significant financial impact on the organization. + Analyzes complex business opportunities and presents complex data sets to leadership that influence internal change, reducing total delivered cost. + Collaborates and coordinates with team members to achieve expense reduction targets. + Performs related duties as required.
