Senior Advanced Services Engineer - Middleware

Job Description:

As a Senior Advanced Services Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality technical services to Oracle’s clients. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to support, design, and implement complex solutions, ensuring customer success and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Solutions: Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements and design innovative solutions to meet their business needs.Implementation and Support: Oversee the implementation of complex systems and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.Problem Resolution: Address and resolve critical issues that may arise during implementation or post-implementation phases.Consulting and Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic and technical advice to enhance their use of Oracle products and services.Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and train junior engineers, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.

Qualifications:

Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Ph.D.) are a plus.Experience: Relevant experience in IT, with a significant portion in advanced technical roles involving complex implementations and support.Technical Skills:Extensive experience with Oracle products and technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), SOA, and BPEL, OSB, ODI, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and platform solutions.Familiarity with cloud security, cloud migration, and deployment.Knowledge of database skills, networking, DevOps, and automation.Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, and others.Experience in Data Management and Data Architectures is a plus.Certifications: Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle SOA) are highly desirable. Relevant technical certifications in cloud architecture and infrastructureFamiliarity with third-party architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
