Windsor Fashions is currently looking for a temporary Senior AP Specialist for a 6 to 9 month assignment to support the Windsor accounting and finance team. The Senior AP Specialist is responsible for accurately entering and processing vendor invoices and payment data into the accounting system. This role supports the Accounts Payable team by ensuring timely and accurate data entry, maintaining organized records, and assisting with invoice matching and discrepancy resolution. This individual will need to be able to thrive in an environment with systems that could involve repetitive, mundane tasks.
Accounts Payable- Responsibilities:
Enter high volumes of vendor invoices and payment information into the AP system with speed and accuracy Review and verify invoice details for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies Assist with resolving discrepancies or incomplete documentation Maintain and process all incoming mail and assist vendors as needed Follow up with vendors and cross functional partners as needed to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely resolution Vendor statement, Factor reconciliation Provide other clerical support to AP related projects and tasks, as assignedQualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in accounting preferred Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience Experience in high volume Accounts Payable department with heavy ten key / data entry Basic proficiency in using computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and email. Training will be provided for Company specific accounting system. Strong organizational skills, time management and focus on quality and accuracy Highest degree of integrity and confidentiality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and maintain effective working relationships with team members Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Must be able to work onsite at our Santa Fe Springs officePhysical/Environmental Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a small amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Adequate movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
