Job Title: Senior Accounts Payable Analyst
Job Summary:
Join a collaborative and fast-paced U.S. finance team where innovation and continuous improvement are valued. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to oversee complex AP processes, ensure timely and accurate payments, maintain compliance, and drive process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of AP operations, preferably with S/4 HANA (SAP).
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight
Lead day-to-day accounts payable operationsReview of high-value, complex vendors and invoicesPrepare, analyze, and present accounts payable aging reportsReconciliation of credit cardsCompliance & Issue Resolution
Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues with vendors and internal departmentsEnsure compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and U.S. tax regulations (e.g., 1099 reporting)Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanationsDevelop standard operating procedures (SOX) to support consistency and knowledge sharingCollaboration & Process Improvement
Collaborate with Procurement to resolve issues with non-PO invoices or funding gapsIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within SAPPartner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiencyQualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a senior or supervisory roleStrong knowledge of AP processes, procedures, and best practicesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macrosProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExceptional attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently while maintaining accountabilityStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsPreferred Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldExperience with S/4HANA, SAP Concur, or other AP automation toolsStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls.Familiarity with shared services or centralized AP environments.Knowledge of international AP processes is a plus.#LI-TP1
The Compensation range for this role is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
