Kforce has a client in Alexandria, VA that is seeking a Senior Accounting Operations Specialist. Responsibilities: * Lead and support all aspects of EFT operations, including ACH, shared draft clearing, member check clearing, A2A (Account to Account transfers), and Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) * Act as the primary point of contact for resolving member disputes related to ACH, Zelle, debit/credit card transactions, and other electronic payments * Monitor and reconcile EFT activity, identifying and resolving discrepancies with precision and urgency * Research and resolve reconciling items and discrepancies related to ACH and other EFT functions * Process journal entries related to EFTs and general ledger adjustments as needed (not a core responsibility) * Respond to internal inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior team members when appropriate * Ensure timely notifications to members regarding check holds, dispute letters, and deposit adjustments * Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies, including Regulation E, D, GG, CC, Visa Operating Regulations, and Nacha Rules * Stay current with industry standards and participate in ongoing training related to ACH rules and EFT operations * Provide backup support for cardholder disputes and other finance-related functions as needed
