C3 AI is seeking a Senior Accounting Operations Analyst to join our team at our office in Guadalajara, Mexico. In this role, you will oversee various aspects of the AP and Procure-to-Pay processes and initiatives. We seek an analytical, self-motivated individual with experience thriving in high-growth environments. The ideal candidate will blend a positive, collaborative demeanor with a hands-on approach, effectively contributing as both an individual performer and a team leader. Reporting directly to the Accounting Operations Manager, this role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization.

Responsibilities:                   

Manage day-to-day operations of the Procure-to-Pay process, including purchasing, accounts payable, and vendor setup, with a focus on process enhancement. Process invoices and secure approvals in compliance with company policies. Work collaboratively with business owners and vendors to obtain all necessary documentation and support. Coordinate weekly payment runs, compiling necessary documentation. Prepare monthly accruals for vendor invoice expenses. Facilitate the accounting close and reporting for the Procure-to-Pay cycle. Conduct reconciliations and analysis for balance sheet accounts related to Procure-to-Pay. Document internal controls within assigned areas of responsibility. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Procure-to-Pay operations and reporting. Support systems enhancement and automation projects. Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests. Perform general accounting support tasks and provide documentation for external audits as needed.

Qualifications:

3+ years of relevant professional experience. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience in high-growth companies, preferably within the Software SaaS/PaaS industry. Ability to efficiently manage day-to-day responsibilities while adapting to changing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail, process orientation, and proficiency in systems. Experience with NetSuite and Coupa is advantageous. Familiarity with FloQast account reconciliation is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Outstanding organizational skills and a collaborative team mindset. Capacity to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
